ABOUT PERSONAL TRAINING

Personal training takes place in Barnsley and the surrounding areas.  I can travel to you, or you can come to me.

 

All workouts are put together to meet the needs of the individual and the method that is most likely to get best results for the person doing personal training.

 

Below are a few examples of results seen by people who tried the personal training.

Changes 4 weeks apart

15 pounds in weight lost and 31cm lost from customer age 42 from personal training, this was achieved in 4 weeks.

4 stones lost in 5 months

Changes for 35 year old mum of 3 seen from personal training.

People in their 20s see very quick results from personal training (as you would expect) one of the photos shows 24 year old mum of 2 (wearing all blue) changes she saw in 2 weeks.

QUESTIONS OFTEN ASKED

How many times per week are people doing personal training?

Customers are completing one session per week for their results.  The only person on this page who trained more than once per week was the person in the 1st photo (at the top)

 

She agreed to complete 12 sessions in 4 weeks in return for a discount and before and after photo.

 

Everyone else on this page completed 1 personal training each week for their results.

 

 

Are customers doing additional work on top of their weekly personal training session?

There isn't any small print, ie, customers complete 1 personal training session per week.....AND....attend a gym 3 times per week and do 10,000 steps (or 5 miles) every day.

 

So no small print.

 

Customers complete one personal training session per week for their results.  It is advisable that customers make small reasonable changes to eating habits to boost results.

 

 

What method of training is done during personal training sessions?

When doing personal training customers are doing a martial arts based fitness workout, this means they train by doing a variety of punching and kicking techniques against the shields and pads (which they are taught to do).

 

Kicking and punching pads obliterates bodyfat very quickly and this allows customers too see rapid changes to their bodyshape with one personal training session each week.

 

One session per week is a better option for people with busy life commitments (ie, work, elderly parents and children)

 

Three sessions per week sounds great in theory, but for many people is not practical if they lead busy lifestyles.

 

 

Advantages of martial arts over other methods of training

Kicking and punching the shields is ideal for people who want to gain a lean, toned all over bodyshape, giving lean arms and legs.

 

Martial arts is quite useless if you want to bulk up and gain muscular arms and chunky muscular thighs.

 

But if you want to obliterate back fat, tummy fat, bingo wings and cellulite this type of workout is ideal for you.

 

People over the age of 40, 50 or 60 regain the bodyshapes they had years previously within weeks.

 

 

Instructor background

I began training when I was around 5 years old which was back in the early 1980s, I trained for about 4 years and then stopped.

 

From 1993 to 2003 I trained in Judo, Karate, Shootfighting, Traditional Jujitsu I did this for 10 years.

 

From 2004 I began to run circuit training classes in gyms until 2006.

 

In 2011, I started to run group fitness classes in halls and then this moved on to home personal training in around 2014.

 

In 2018, after 15 years away from training I returned to martial arts and have been doing Brazilian Jujitsu for the past few years.

 

 

Cost for personal training

£30 per session

 

£17 per person for 2 people.

 

 

ONLINE FITNESS

  • 3 live fitness sessions each week done online.

 

  • If you cannot attend lives then recorded workouts will be sent to you (recorded workouts are the lives that were recorded).

 

  • Get results from the comfort of your own home, no equipment needed.

 

  • ​£4 for 1 workout or £20 per month.
